GRANGEWOOD PARK RESIDENTS' COUNTRY CLUB is a unique leisure
complex, designed and built for the exclusive use of homeowners and their
guests. The club is centrally situated in the heart of a 265-home development
built by Westbury Homes Ltd, which covers 37 acres of land in Northampton's
southern district of East Hunsbury.

When work started on Grangewood estate by the builder in 1984,
what is now the Residents was a dilapidated barn in the grounds of Grangewood
Farm. Thankfully it had been listed as a grade 2 listed building and therefore
Westbury Homes decided to include it into their concept for the residential
development.

The company invested £1.4 million in the leisure complex and the
scheme is a shining example of developers contributing in a very positive way
to community life. In addition to the comfortable residents' lounge with its
own licensed bar, meeting rooms, kitchen and conservatory, the complex boasts
both a squash and tennis court.
Grangewood Park also benefits from a nature trail, jogging
circuit and country paths; not to mention a butterfly sanctuary; and wooded
area running through the heart of the development.

Management team of Trustees who are elected as
directors of Grangewood Management Ltd at an AGM held each year at the club.
They act as the guardians of the club ensuring the assets are passed forward in
good conditions as the Trust charges them to do. They also ensure there is
sound financial management of the club and that the contribution every
homeowner is contracted to pay as a condition of the covenant they sign during
purchase of their property is kept to a minimum.
An elected committee focuses
attention on the membership, looks after social events and rules of usage of
the facilities within the club.
